Why Buy From Us?
If you are purchasing a ketubah, chances are it's your first time. On top of organizing a wedding, ordering a ketubah can be nerve-racking: there are so many strange Hebrew terms to learn, texts to choose from, and choices to make.
And, once you order, how do you know that you are receiving a museum-quality, Rabbi-approved ketubah that will last beyond your lifetime and be passed down as a family heirloom?
It's a big decision.
We hope this handy check-list will help you navigate through the unfamiliar world of ketubahs and explain some of the ways we work to create the ketubah of your dreams.
- We guarantee our ketubahs 100%.
"What guarantee do I have that my ketubah will arrive on-time, undamaged and without spelling mistakes?"
This is the #1 worry of most couples. The answer with us is we guarantee our ketubahs 100%.
That means that if (G!d forbid) your ketubah arrives damaged or with a spelling mistake (that we made) we will immediately ship you a replacement. At no cost. Guaranteed. Your ketubah is also covered through our secure server by the same protection as all your credit card transactions.
And we have never, ever missed a wedding. Not even close.
- We are Perfectionists, so that you don't have to be.
We are a boutique ketubah company. Each and every ketubah is carefully hand-crafted by us. We know all our Brides and Grooms by name. Special requests and custom orders are our specialty. When we create your ketubah, we work hard to make certain that every little detail is just right.
Call us obsessive. We take it as a compliment.
- We do all the text personalization ourselves.
When you work with us, you are working directly with the artist.
We do our own text fill-ins and then create your ketubah ourselves, using our own equipment. It allows us to indulge our desire for perfection and guarantees that your ketubah looks perfect.
- We use the Highest Quality Materials.
We print all our ketubahs on the thickest, highest quality watercolor paper available using archival watercolor inks. Then we ship your ketubah either flat (with a cardboard backing in an acetate sheath) or in a high-impact tube. [click here to see what is right for you]
The reason we use the highest quality materials is simple: You are buying a museum-quality art-piece that you want to last a lifetime and pass down as a family heirloom.
It's more expensive to do it this way, but for us, it's the only way.
- We are knowledgeable about the Hebrew and Aramaic texts.
Even the tiniest mistake in the Hebrew or Aramaic text can sometimes render a ketubah unuseable. Some Rabbis will even refuse to sign it at the wedding (making you use a photocopied text instead.)
This is why we always fax proofs of your Hebrew and English texts to you and to your Rabbi/Officiant. At no extra cost.
We then work closely with your Rabbi to ensure that he or she is 100% okay with every letter, dot and dash. Your ketubah does not get created until you and your Rabbi say so.
The result: A Happy Rabbi, Happy Bride and Groom and no unhappy surprises.
- We have a fast turnaround time.
How about 2-3 weeks? Or even a week if you have all your info ready (a rush fee applies.) Just because your Rabbi only mentioned that you need a ketubah 3 weeks before your wedding doesn't mean that you have to settle for a fill-in-the-blank mass-produced poster.
We will work with you (and your Rabbi or Officiant) to create your ketubah right away and get it to you before the Big Day. With the same exacting quality that we demand from every ketubah we print. Guaranteed.
- Our ketubahs are "limited edition prints"
There is a big difference between a limited edition ketubah, that is signed and numbered by the artist, and a lithograph ketubah, which is printed a thousand at a time (with pre-printed texts and fill-in-the-blanks). We help make our ketubahs extra-special by printing them one-at-a-time in small editions of 350, hand-signed and numbered by the artist.
Once the edition is sold out, we will never, ever create another ketubah print of that design. And you will always own something special, unique and rare.
- You can customize the texts and many other options.
You've made everything at your wedding unique. You should have the same range of choices with your ketubah.
Because we print our ketubahs one-at-a-time, you can pick from a wide range of texts, mix-and-match Hebrew Orthodox with Egalitarian English, change a word or phrase, write your own vows, choose the fonts, add your parents to the witness signatures or garnish your design with a favorite quote.
We don't just sell ketubahs. We create ketubahs. Your ketubah. The way you want it.
- We provide excellent phone and email support along the way.
We love hearing from our Couples and co-creating their ketubahs with them. We're not just here to help create the ketubah of your dreams. We're also available to answer questions about framing, Jewish wedding etiquette or whatever questions you might have.
It's just part of the service that we offer.
- We have an excellent replacement plan.
While we hope this never happens, sometimes couples do lose their ketubahs at the reception or damage them later when moving. Or a Couple misspells someone's Hebrew name and doesn't catch it when reviewing the fax proofs.
Not with us. We have a better solution: For the small fee of $50.00 (to cover shipping costs and labor) we will send you a new ketubah right away (2 nd Day Air or Overnight may incur additional shipping fees.)
